About the Presentation: Dr. Greg Liverman will review the latest developments in DNA testing for genealogy from the major testing companies, new tools offered by independent developers, the latest science on using DNA test results to solve genealogical problems. The latest developments in ancestry (ethnicity reports) are also covered.

Meet Our Speaker – Greg Liverman:

Greg Liverman has been researching family history since the 1990s working with both online and on-the -ground records in many states and foreign counties. He brings his experience as a TV journalist, scientist and information technology professional to bear on genealogy research problems. Since the use of DNA testing exploded in the last decade, Greg has focused on understanding and teaching the best practices for DNA testing and analysis.

This month’s meeting is an in-person meeting starting at 6:30 pm (Mountain) at the Broomfield Community Center, Elmwood 2 Meeting Room:

  • 6:30 pm – Informal meet and greet with members and guests
  • ~6:50 pm – Short business meeting
  • 7:00 pm – Program presentation
