Other Local Volunteer Opportunities

A number of other local organizations welcome volunteers and have genealogical-related records or archives.  Please visit them for volunteering and contributing back to the community.

National Archives at Denver 

The National Archives at Denver is located here in Broomfield after its move from the Denver Federal Center! The Broomfield NARA maintains permanent records created by Federal agencies and courts in the following states:

  • Colorado
  • Montana
  • New Mexico
  • North Dakota
  • South Dakota
  • Utah
  • Wyoming

The National Archives at Denver has a computer lab and volunteers available to help you discover more. If you would be interested in volunteering in the computer lab, please visit their volunteer page here and let our Society know if you are volunteering, so that your name can be added to our Volunteer List.Currently, the National Archives is closed but will open after the pandemic is over.

due to the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic.
